Edwardsville crit(what was I thinking..?)

I have known for a solid 3 years that I am not good when the temps are high. It was 106 with the index, 102 with the wind chill. I usually get goose bumps and feel cold when the heat gets me. It was a little different this time. I got a splitting head ache on the left side. It felt like my left temple was going to blow out of the side of my skull. The first few laps I was near the front and slowly went backwards. Stayed in for about 15 or so laps before dropping out. Been riding a bunch too. Got about 20 hours in the past two weeks. My legs felt good. HR was ok. Just cant take that kind of heat.


Not feeling good.


My boy PG off the front going for the $50 prime which he got easily. PG was riding like a super hero Sunday. Not because of his ride, but because of his night before the race. Out till 5AM. Fist fight at 3AM in U-city and got sucker punched in the nose. He didn't really remember all the details so I don't have much to say about it. Im sure he is somewhat at fault though... Just loved his side of the story on the drive to the race.
